“Rex and I have now been taking part in sessions 1-2 times a month since we completed our introduction. It is addictive!! Rex is very enthusiastic and absolutely loves the sessions, he is progressing brilliantly under Katie’s excellent instruction and we are both learning so much. Rex has become increasingly confident with the trails and I’m constantly amazed at what he can do. You can tell how much he enjoys the sessions with his big goofy grin and, oh so pleased with himself, face when he finds his missing person. It is an incredibly rewarding form of physical and mental exercise for him, and I love working with him, we are a team, and I think building that trust and that bond is what makes Man-trailing special. We have met some lovely people and their fabulous dogs and it’s so wonderful to see each dog no matter what age, breed, size or physical capability enjoy trailing and succeeding at it. Any dog can do this sport. I would highly recommend Katie as a trainer and Mantrailing as a fantastic way of enriching your dog’s life and both of you having great fun along the way.”
“I was looking for something to mentally stimulate my spaniel cross, particularly on dark evenings. Due to his lack of general training and reactivity to other dogs most dog sports such as flyball were not suitable for him. Mantrailing has been a godsend, we have only been going a few months and I am so impressed with his progress. And best of all it is the only thing that truly tires him out, he will sleep for the whole day! Now he understands how much fun the game is, I have seen him grow in confidence and is sometimes able to completely ignore other dogs while he is 'working'!”
“I have two rescue dogs who both have a tendency to be nervous of people, We have been mantrailing for 7 months on and off, and they are now much more confident and will even go up to strangers!”
" I discovered mantrailing while looking for something fun to do with my new puppy kody. We love attending mantrailing sessions as they are fantastic for giving our puppy lots of great experiences with strangers and new places! It is also a fantastic way to tire hum out! Kody blew me away when he picked up the game on only his 1st go! He is now 8 months and I am so excited to see him progress even more as he ages.

Yes!
Dog's are worked one at a time, with the rest waiting their turn in cars. This means dog reactive dog's can enjoy classes too, as long as we trail in quiet areas.
Mantrailing is a great way for dog's who are nervous of people to build up positive associations to strangers.
Any breed of dog can take part in mantrailing.
At each class there are 3-5 handlers and dog's. One dog at a time is set on a trail of a missing person we have placed nearby. At each session, everyone takes turns in being a missing person and a handler and someone is always with the cars too. Classes are at various locations and times.
